Community Literacy Events
Reading doesn’t only happen in the classroom—it can be strengthened and celebrated throughout our community! Hialeah offers families many free and affordable opportunities where children can practice their literacy skills in fun, meaningful, and engaging ways. Whether through hands-on activities, after-school programs, or family events, these resources give students the chance to apply reading, writing, and vocabulary in real-life settings. By taking advantage of these opportunities, parents can help their children build a lifelong love for reading while also connecting with others in our community.
